Apply to become a Session Support volunteer
Session Support volunteers provide a calm, safeguarding-aware adult presence during approved group sessions while the Mentor delivers the programme.
Before you begin
What the application involves
You may save and resume the application before submission. Required sections and accepted evidence must be complete before the review stage can begin.
Required documents
Provide the required safer-recruitment evidence through the protected upload process.
Review and submit
Check every section, complete the required declarations and submit an immutable application version.
Two-stage review
The application is reviewed by Supervisor/DSL and then Admin. More information may be requested.

- Photo identification
- Level 2 safeguarding status or certificate where applicable
Production uploads must be private, validated and malware-scanned. Exact permitted file types and size limits remain a controlled implementation dependency and are not invented on this screen.
Access and approval
Applying does not activate the role
Submitting an application creates an applicant record only. It does not provide access to live sessions, participant information or the Session Support dashboard.
Operational access is permitted only after the required reviews, readiness checks, account activation and mandatory staff MFA are complete.
